The situation is bad enough that I can’t consider or think much on how good it would be to be ruled by PR. I am willing to give it a chance, and just get rid of the current government, the “racits”, “corrupted” and “bias’ government. I guess people who are still supporting the current government are those benefiting from its policy, are you???

Many people will remember that Pak Lah was given a record mandate in his first elections as PM. He was Mr Clean and vowed to transform the dire straits of the Malaysia he inherited. The first order of business was freeing a man who was meted gross injustice under Mahathir. With Anwar out and free, Pak Lah set about loosening the shackles of the media. So far so good. But when he laid hands on the corrupt wihtin the ranks of UMNO, he met with criminal resistance! And so began his taste of the ‘brick wall’ that Zaid has alluded to. Some must surely remember Pak Lah’s lament: “I am working alone”.

I believe it was at this point that he was divinely inspired to do what he knew he must do to save the country from certain doom: Destroy the monster to save the rakyat.

And therefore ever since, every move to thwart any opposition to the government seems to be the worst move the government could have taken, some outright foolish, ill-thought, and counter productive.
There is no measure taken by the ruling elite that can be said to have benefited them – the most damaging being the use of the ISA and the cruel fuel price hike. Is it not amazing that UMNO was on self-destruct mode? Was this by design?

While the rakyat seemed to have matured with the media opening up, the internet blossoming and freedom of expression being exercised in hitherto unimagined ways – the pillow being presented to Pak Lah comes to mind – the government seemed to backtrack and become cloistered in an ever imploding sphere. Was this mere coincidence?

The highhanded manner of the police, the arrogance of the ruling elite were at a ‘no-holds-barred’ exhibition. The quotes of Maidin, Nazri, Hamid, Khir, Ahmad still sear in rememberence.

As the curtain falls on UMNO/BN, one must wonder: Was it all mere coincidence or the diabolical brilliance of one true Malaysian? I believe it is the latter, of one who is willing to go to hell for a heavenly cause!

Your mum probably fed you that tainted milk from China cos it looks like you have turd for brains. 5 states is a major victory you fool. If the election was rigged as you say it is, they would never have let selangor fall into PR’s hands. If you are playing dirty, wouldn’t it make sense to go all the way? Deny PR victory in Selangor and especially Perak where the margin of victory is slim.

PR taking over government now would be extreme stupidity. I guess that doesn’t matter when Anwar’s followers are stupid like you. How long can a government with DAP and PAS last? How can reforms be implemented when the leading players cannot agree on anything? Even with 31 defectors, it wouldn’t have a 2/3 majority so the new PR federal goverment would still be powerless to amend the constitution.

You may wish to be fooled by Anwar and his ambition to be PM at all costs. Even stupid people have rights i guess. But don’t think we’re all idiots like you.

Have you any idea how much budget those 5 Pakatan states have? The richest state is Selangor. It has only 1.3 Billion MYD per year. When year after year kenna screwed by the former BN state government incurring huge deficit with debts to the federal government. Hence, I am quite pissed off with those idoits asking Pakatan state government to do wonders when they have less than 4 Billion MYD budget for all 5 states. Plus, still need to pay the “past” debts accumulated by the previous BN government
Perhaps, I could tell the present federal government “Up yours” and withold the tax revenues collected by the Pakatan State Governments for the BN federal government.You think that’s possible? Unless all five states are like Singapore during 1963 – 1965, they can’t simply do so

By the way, Singapore led by LKY then in (1963 – 1965) got so fed up, they have decided to run a collision course with Tunku’s federal government (I have always respected Tunku but he’s still a politician. Read LKY’s memoir).
The system is designed in such a way most power rested in the hands of a centralised federal government. Hence, if BN starts (which already started) to play punk, pakatan’s hands are tied if they being gentlemen. There’s always a limit. Enough is enough! Just do it by all means and take over the federal government

I’m afraid it is you who is not able to see the big picture. The elections happened in March 2008. It’s over. If the elections weren’t fair, PR would not have won 5 states. There is now an opportunity to showcase PR’s governance in these 5 major states and prove that PR can move this country forward. Instead, what we have is more politicking to destablise the country. All to further the political ambitions of one man, Anwar Ibrahim.

So far, we’ve heard only words from the purported messiah. Where is the proof that he will do all he says? Selangor is Malaysia’s richest state. With Selangor under PKR’s control, Anwar has all the means to do it. Show the people of Malaysia how we don’t need to depend on the federal govt to succeed.

And look at Anwar’s action not just his words. He said he would take action against that … Zulkifli Noordin. What action? How can you trust a man who says one thing but does something else altogether?
