However, anyone holding ADUN or MP status and defects should automatically be striped of their position and a by-election must be held again. Politicians voted in by the Rakyat should uphold the principles and aspiration of the Rakyat. If they jump ship, let them take it back to the Rakyat to see if they also believe in the same principles as him. They should automatically lose all priviliges that comes with the position, including the Rakyat-sponsored pension. It will make them think long & hard about playing with the people's votes & trust.
