  1. Another delay succeeded. Hopefully this will not be another 11 years case.

    • Gerakan K,
… you are always in a state of denial. Again its not about delay, its about liar and integrity and we have a judge that (has been accused by Karpal of being) a liar…

It is going the way of the like of Nigeria, Zimbabwe and Somali. where the Perak MB case has to be base on one in Nigeria……

  2. Can anyone tell me why the citation of the Sodomy case is stated as Public Prosecutor v DSAI. (Should) the lawyers should hava asked the Crt to change it to Saiful & Othrs … v DSAI(?) This would make the proceedings much clearer.

When the PP’s name is used, prosecution is understood to be taken and done for and in the interest of the public and nation. When an individual’s name is used, prosecution is commenced and done privately for the benefit of those individuals concerned.

(To me) this sodomy trial is not a public prosecution but a private prosection by Saiful backed by (others) …

    • I ADVISE YOU TO CHECK WITH ONE OF PKR INNER CIRCLE BY THE NAME OF DIN MERICAN “DJ BLOGGERS ” OR ZAID IBRAHIM EX-UMNO LAWYER.

HE WILL BE ABLE TO EXPLAIN TO YOU WHY IT’S DPP VS DSAI … AND NOT SAIFUL & OTHERS VS DSAI …

  3. hey, don’t mean to be ungrateful, because I am grateful…

but i prefer the earlier live coverages of this trial. it was ‘cleaner’ – now we’re getting more tweets/reporting, but more less important stuff are thrown in too, so just makes lots more reading for nothing much. i know there was complaint about not reporting fast enough, but i felt it was OK n now its just ‘not clean’… if u know what i mean.

on top of jonson’s great reporting, we’re also getting MI and (for a time) MKini, and all 3 basically say the same thing so I find myself filtering through too much for too little happening.

and when multiple events are being reported on the same live coverage, then it just gets even messier.

any way we could get crisper coverage? i know feed from variety of sources is a good idea, but… maybe others can share their thoughts too. if its just me then nvm.

    • Thanks, for the feedback. I thought it might be good to have multiple sourcing, just in case there were lapses in coverage by a source or mistakes in deciphering legal jargon in the court – then it could be corrected or filled in by the other sources. Perhaps I will reduce the sources next time.

      • Thanks, Anil.

Theoretically multisourcing is a good idea for your reasons above n also for impartiality. On principle, I completely agree and support it. Unfortunately, I personally felt the outcome too much and made things more cluttered/confusing than need be.

Most of the overlap was between jonson, MI and MKini. It was good to have Edmund for legal aspects and do keep people like Anwar & LKS.

Maybe Jonson can keep my feedback in mind while he is reporting too. I love him because he usually gets in before MI and adds a more personal feel (vs MI more mechanical). I think he was very professional in the first live coverage! But later as though he felt obliged to tweet to fill in the non-action.

Also separate events can be kept as a separate post? Perhaps can announced “Breaking News” (eg. Penang hawker protest) during live feed, but afterwards make that a separate post/story.

Anyway, thanks for receiving my feedback. Thank you to you, Jonson & others for the good work. I’ll be happy however way you proceed with this. Happy holidays! :)
