The Peon has done it all…the Peon way…It is like trying to win the best kampong concept..and Malacca would be tops in the kampong category no doubt…only problem is ..it is supposed to be a city…alive on the weekends, courtesy of Singaporeans and KLites and dead on week days….Empty beachside (now highway side)condos and ghostly hotels on weekdays are testimony to this…it’s … eerie if ou ask me…no more charm..all that green save for the cemetery is all but gone..
And why the airport. The blinking city needs an efficient train service linking KL and Singapore…that’s it…but you dont expect the Peon to understand that…that would be too much economics for him…
Malacca is truly a dead heritage city. No one is going to hop onto that ferris wheel and if we wanted malls…we would stay back in KL or Singapore…

The biggest government hospital that is privatised … has to be the Institute Jantung Negara. Shockingly they charged RM4500 for an angiogram when it would have cost about RM 3000 in a Penang private Hospital.IJN apparently belongs to the Ministry of Finance. ..the government. What rubbish is this. It’s free only for civil servants. And why the monopoly. I could have taken my uncle to Lam Wah Ee and paid far less if the government wanted to foot the bill.
The PR when they come to power must ensure that either prices remain reasonable or ….just shut down this monopoly and let patients go anywhere they like and subsidise their bills….

I was at Mahidol for some time…The culture there is completely different from Malaysian Universities…it is live and let live policy…no such thing as (sideline) the (minorities), etc…they treat everyone with respect and kindness….In Malaysian Univeresities, th kulit comes first…further, they respect each other and they are taught about respect for elders, life, etc.
And very importantly, they are a stickler for principles…Porntnip is living evidence of that.

Hi, just wondered how was the reaction of BN supporters when the assembly was on? Did they really follow the order of the Speaker to remain silent? That was interesting though… i thought they first blocked the PR assembly persons from entering the secretariat and now they were ok of letting the assembly move forward “smoothly”??
Why is everyone over-reacting, I’m not trying to spoil the mood here but I believe that we would not achieve anything here if UMNO is still controlling the police, army, judiciary and all the important roles in governing the country.
