I don’t think the Speaker was outfoxed. For example, switching off the mike when the PM is speaking to the nation does not mean he is not the PM. God and the rakyat have seen what happened and the Speaker was right to not convene the meeting until the 10 leave.
This is a landmark day for Perak because the whole nation and God was watching the proceedings in the state assembly. It was a circus only in the eyes of those who are sour grapes about losing the people’s vote.
Next time you want to be the Speaker of Parliament just swith off the mike. Then pass a resolutions that you are the speaker and chase all BN MPs out of Dewan. Then you can pass a new resolution naming a new Prime Minister…
Hi Anil, nice job on the live coverring of the dewan sitting. It looks like a tamil movie drama to me than a good civil proceding. My respect to our Speaker V Sivakumar, for standing up to his rights. My honest opinion is that for what is worth is the people of Perak should come first. My believe is if the BN goverment is so hungry for power, let them have their day today and we as the people will show the the door when time comes in the next general election. People are suffering for what is giong on in Perak, and I believe Pakatan are putting people,s interest above everything else so do the honuorable thing to let them win the battle and we regroup to win the war. People are getting arrested and I don,t think it will matter to the goverment and will do no harm to them too. We need the federal govt to change Malaysia, so patience is the virtue. this is my two cent worth of opinion.
