Riot police have disrupted yet another ceramah, this time at the Sultan Sulaiman Club in KL, forcing the crowd in the field to move into the club hall.

  2. In business world I often hear that “no money no talk”.

Somehow in politics, the opposition still don’t understand this “no permit no talk” principle.

How can I support them when they simple don’t understand this simple rule of the game ??? The opposition still not reliable to move into Putrajaya. The old one while not perfect but it works.

    Cops bust Pakatan anniversary bash

KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Rakyat (PR) kicked off the second anniversary celebrations of its March 8 success on a sour note when police ended the party prematurely on March 7.

Before PKR vice-president Azmin Ali, who is also the Gombak member of parliament, finished his speech, dozens of police personnel burst onto the scene to disrupt the proceedings.

Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim was the first speaker before a crowd of about 2,000 people at the Kelab Sultan Sulaiman field, which is owned by the Selangor state government.

In the ensuing melee, several PR helpers were hurt.

Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and other PR legislators like Tian Chua and Lim Lip Eng were also present when the police charged up the stage.

PKR information chief and lawyer Latheefa Koya and Tian Chua attempted to appeal for more time with an officer from the Dang Wangi police station but the police refused to relent.

The officer did not give any reasons for stopping the ceramah other than to say that he was acting on orders. During this time, he was chastised by PR’s supporters who were dissatisfied with his answer.

Shortly after that, PR moved all its supporters into the cramped clubhouse and resumed the speeches with Pokok Sena MP Mahfuz Omar, followed by Lim.

PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail arrived later.

  4. Our country has now gone (down the drain).

The ‘respectable’ 2nd Finance Minister Ahmad Husni is spewing.
The Police ‘gave’ permit for ‘dinner’ & not for ‘speeches’ to DAP Kepong. The next time you will need permit to eat….
You must be an UMNO before you rally or give speeches otherwise you will be arrested.
No matter what you are, a tainted or corruptible you are always to welcome to join (the) UMNO (fold) as long as it can take to topple a democractic elected government.

So much so for … Najib and UMNO running the country.

  5. Anwar’s supporters could have provoked the police. The police I am sure wouldn’t use physical force unless needed. What good can they gain by using force anyway? Obviously, this was one of Anwar’s tactics to place the blame on the police.

  6. PAKATAN HOLDS TOGETHER ON 2ND ANNIVERSARY

Pakatan’s refusal to fray in the teeth of BN’s DUBIOUS & DIRTY TACTICS OF relentless bombardment makes the tsunami’s 2nd anniversary highly significant despite the resignation and termination of 3 & 1 PKR members respectively.

IT IS DEFINITELY A GOOD SIGN

KICK OUT … UMNO & NAJIB ONCE & FOR ALL

  7. Going by Gerakan K’s logic, Malaysia would not come into existence, it would still be Malaya under British’s rule as a colony.

  8. Oh my GOD!!! I don’t even call that an INJURY. That’s just a MINOR CUT (that’s all). Don’t lah make a make FUSS over small tiny cuts, will ya???

Footballers always get that & in fact the injuries footballers get are much worse than what those 3 dudes got. If we were to call that POLICE BRUTALITY, then, is it correct to say FOOTBALL GAMES should be BANNED because it’s called PLAYERS BRUTALITY?

Kena cakar sahaja pun mahu COMPLAIN. Macam mana nak LAWAN??? Asyik tahu cakap “LAWAN TETAP LAWAN” tapi bila kena cakar sikit….complain …

    Apalah woi???

  9. TOKZ

What about inside the body? Have you had a fall and the skin turn blue black but inside the muscle & bones hurt? You must never have a fall or a cut. By the way if the police did not hit (if any) or distrupt the gathering (although it is inside own private land / property) nor traffic, I don’t understand which orders comes from the top? Is it PM, DPM or … Hisamuddin??
