MAny UMNO members are now leaving UMNO for PAS and PKR. Pas is always grateful to the people for voting them in in the recent general election. PAS has MBs in 3 states out of this coalition. PAS has socred a success - the biggest success thus far. PAS has proved to the people that Islam brings justice for all - muslim and non-muslim. PAS understands that PR is a coalition against injustice, corruption, cronyism and nepotism. It is not an alliance of religions but 'philosophy' to oust the arrogant power-crazy people of the country. PAS has performed its best after 50 years not due to the support from UMNO but the people who belong to all races and religions. Syabas PAS. PAS will never ruin itself by associating itself with UMNO. PAS will remain strong working together with PKR and DAP on the platform of justice for all. The people are now impatiently waiting for a change of government. PR should soon make the nation its priority and therefore individual crave for post and position become secondary. PAS invite ALL malaysians to support PR and push hard to oust BN from the scene of dirty self-centred politics. ALLAH will bless PAS and PR. The key to defeating BN/incumbent is to stand firm on the middle ground of Malaysian society so that the fence-sitters and the politically neutral will share PR/PAS/DAP's common values: ie. that PR is an ethical party that will fight relentlessly against corruption, racism and injustice. PR should never be anti-UMNO but anti-unbridled greed, abuse of power and injustice. Pls remember that DAP is not a socialist, anti-Islamic party but has many key members who are Christians and religious people who share the same values as devout Muslims. Frankly, PR needs to rebrand itself into a cohesive coalition, not a tactical marriage of convenience. Nik Aziz said to avoid going to the snake pit. That is sufficient not to be harmed. But PR should start forming the shadow cabinet and implementing positive policies that will build up the economies and communal values of the five PR states. PR should also consider plan B in the event DSAI is taken out of the political arena. Could somebody like RPK fill in the void? He who is politically neutral and pro-rakyat will be the ideal candidate to reinvigorate PR and lead PR under plan B (provided his SD is based on the truth, which remains a mystery to the public). The old habits of seeing politics in this country through the lenses of race and religion will take some time and effort to be discarded. But I believe that all the leaders of the parties in the Pakatan are sincere in wanting to make it a success. This is the only formula that can bring this country forward. We cannot fail.
