  1. Is an Anti-Terrorism Act a necessary compromise, or can we just have laws that – you know – just make it illegal do actually do, solicit or materially support reasonable crimes?

Edmund Bon is spot-on to reject the idea of ‘preventative detention’. It’s such a blatantly idiotic abuse of human rights. Extending detention to give more time for investigation is sensible, as long as the extensions are _small_ and it’s subject to public scrutiny. There shouldn’t be any method by which the state can quietly ‘disappear’ people.

“We should [stop voting for personalities and parties and] start voting based on issues” – he is my new hero.

  2. The future of a nation is tied to the judiciary, once tainted with corruptions and bias-ism, we must as well have a police state.

  3. BEWARE THE WRATH OF GOD

Beware the strong wrath of God
When mankind is not totally in one accord
In acknowledging Him in the manner they can afford
But waste time by tying things up in unnecessary cord
