1502: Young people at the back are singing “Auld Lang Syne” in Mandarin. Many of them are Beng Hock’s friends and current and ex-colleagues. About 500 people are reportedly gathered at the site.
1327: The crowd at the Park is now waiting for the arrival of the MB and Kit Siang.
1302: The cortege is just arriving at the Nirvana Memorial Park in Semenyih, accompanied by a long convoy of cars, according to my contact at the scene.
Earlier, in the morning, another eye-witness said the convoy from Malacca was perhaps a kilometre long; it was hard to tell for sure.
More than 2,000 people reportedly attended Beng Hock’s funeral at his home in Alor Gajah.

The number of people that attended the funeral is a measurement of the anger and disatisfaction with the govt. This a harbinger of the feeling in the next election.
Many messages, angry and direct ones by the man in the street and subtle ones by the Chinese business community.
I have not seen MCA and Gerakan in such near dead situation before. No wonder we start to see some of the bigwigs of these parties appearing. This is a sign of their desperation.
May God bless his soul. He has not left us in vain. His spirit lives on. Condolences to the bereaved family members.
Malaysia Oh Malaysia.
the LORD said : ” vengeance is mine ” . Amen !
1Malaysia for Najib only.
May his soul rest in peace, lest we forget our responsibility to him in the next GE.
May the soul of TBH be resurrected in all of us in our struggle against injustice towards the people of Malaysia, come rain or shine!
Another day, another mother cries.. another child is orphaned…. What now Malaysia? Sit down in front of the television with a box of tissues or stand up and say NO! ?
A nation mourns a dignified young man who stood his ground against MACC abusers and refused to be used to implicate/fabricate evidences against his bosses.
My deepest sympathy and condolence to the family, hope time will help heal and ease the pain.
My deepest condolence to his wife-to-be and family.
I suggest that we unite and continue to fight for justice. My common sense tells me that we should get the International Justice Mission founded by Gary Haugen to investigate the case. They will be the only hope we have if we want total truth, nothing but the truth.
I don’t trust the BN government and anyone appointed by them. Things can be twisted…
Praying hard that those who are responsible will be convicted and punished and all the evils that they have committed will be exposed plus those who are behind the master plan. May their life be haunted every second of their life!!!
PKR – DAP – PAS, you will have my precious vote for many, many elections to come. Keep up the good fight!!!
KEPADA PARA PENGULAS,
KEMATIAN MENDIANG TBH BUKAN ISU PERKAUMAN.
BIAR MACC DI SIASAT DAN YANG BERSALAH DI BAWA KE MUKA PENGADILAN.
SEMUA RAKYAT MALAYSIA MESTI BERSATU PADA WAKTU
YANG SEDIH INI.
My condolences goes to the family of TBH, don’t lose faith cos there will be a day when justice will prevail. Don’t condemd BN/UMNO nor name calling of their leaders, just do the one thing that is most important, that is in the next election, vote them out and remember your vote is very vital …! Remember, keep this in your heart for the next 36 months or more, n it will be the D-DAY for BN/UMNO!!!!!!!!!!
An open letter to the journalist fraternity in The Sun, New Straits Times, The Star, Sin Chew Jit Poh, Nanyang Siang Pau, Guang Ming Daily, Kwong Wah Yit Poh, The Edge.
Do you accept Zainul Ariffin’s assertion that the Chinese are attacking a Malay institution when MACC is supposed to be a Malaysian public institution supported by Malay, Chinese, Indian, Eurasian, Sikh, Ceylonese, Iban, Kadazan, Bidayuh, Murut, Penan, Bajau, Melanau, Orang Asal taxpayers money? Will you go on record to condemn the racist innuendos of your esteemed colleague and boss (for New Straits Times staff)?
We are not talking about race here, we are talking about the murder of an innocent young Malaysian at the hands of law enforcement. We are talking about an unborn child being robbed of a father. Drop aside your politics and biases and prejudices for once and speak as a human being, speak as a Malaysian, speak as someone with a conscience.
Deepest condolence to TBH family and wife to be, may your soul be resurrected in all of us in our struggle against injustice towards the people of Malaysia,We as rakyats Malaysia will carry on your spirits with us and may god bless your family with good health, strengths to live on and your son or daughter which will be born in 7 months time will live as the national hero kid who fight for injustice.
Again god bless your soul, family and wife to be.
Teoh’s death is the last straw, we’ve lost confidence in MACC and the government.
nazri,
youw will feel it if its your son…
Folks, it is time to walk the talk!
You and me are the guilty ones!
I was certainly dissapointed with the number of attendance in Stadium Kelana Jaya yesterday evening (July 19, 2009).
I was expecting a larger crowd, perhaps, 30,000 instead of a meagre 3000.
No wonder Najib only send message from Saudi Arabia about Malaysia being defeated by MU by 2-3 rather than 0-6. That’s all he care because during this match, more than 80,000 crowd went for the game in Stadium Bukit Jalil.
For him, the 3000 crowd in stadium Kelana Jaya is far insignificant to send a personal message of condolences to Teoh Beng Hock’s family nor does he care that Teoh’s die in the custody of MACC.
Who’s to blame?
Blame ourselves as we allow the tyranny to frighten us with their threats. Blame ourselves as we allow the tyranny to create fear and coerced us into submission. Blame ourselves for not dare to make our voice heard and our presence felt.
Yes, indeed we are all scare. We are all fear of the harrassment and intimidation from the tyranny.
But will we let the fear to conquer our inspiration? Will we let the fear to kill off our spirit slowly and surely? Will we let our passion and self-esteem die away from fear?
Do we allow ourselves to become a dead man walking in our own country?
Why don’t we face the fear directly?
Don’t want to the risk?
It we can’t take the risk today, we and our children all will be going to pay much higher price and much greater risks in future, won’t we?
Imagine if we have 100 000 crowd in stadium Kelana Jaya, won’t that awaken the Rakyat, and let everybody knows that enough is enough?
No, we have not done it. We are still too frightened and were swallowed by fear. That’s exactly what tyranny wants. They want us to remain silent, obedient and consent, no matter what happens and no matter what our heart is telling us that it is all wrong.
As V for Vendetta quoted “How did this happen? Who’s to blame? Well certainly there are those who are more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable. But again, truth be told…if you’re looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.”
If only we listen to what our heart is telling us to do, if only we dare to embrace fear and do it, things will not going to change for better.
Not when we remain sit back, relax, enjoy the show and hopeful that somebody like Anwar Ibrahim or Lim Kit Siang would do all the job for us. Without the people like you and me, do you think AI or LKS could succeed?
It is time for us to raise from our chair, to get out from our comfort zone, to make our presence felt… before we reach the point of no return where people would be silenced not through the media anymore but through manipulation of law and in Beng Huat’s case, death!
You and me are the guilty ones!
Unexplained death in prison
Unexplained death in police lockup
Unexplained death of Altantuya
Unexplained death of Teoh Beng Hock.
According Suhakam, more then 1,500 of such death had already occured in our country.
Malaysia Boleh ???????????
[...] What I am doing in my silence is to allow Teoh’s loved ones some dignity, space and privacy in their grieve. [...]
What can I say…Malaysian politics is such a dirty politics….People are dying under police custody… PDRM,what you want to explain about this???Satu Malaysia konon…
Deepest condolence to TBH family. The next GE is our only
avenue to change all things. RIP. Beng Hock although I do not know you personally
HIDUP TEOH!
Yes the blame is on us. We allowed this and every other unnessary deaths to happen.
We the ppl only have ourselves to blame. Come the next elections, let’s do something BIG to change the hopeless situation!

Why Beng Hock death can link to races issue ? These people are crazy to create those unnecessary & sensitive comment against his death. Again, we feel very lost on our government direction nowadays. What a sad case ever had before !!! And yet this is unable to identify !!! Too bad , sad & disappointed over the measure has been raised. We are welcome the theme as “ONE MALAYSIA”, but what are we now ? Criticising & condeming has made people fed up. Enough for now, please stop all this issue by now. What Malaysian wanted is justice in Human rights. Beng Hock, my deepest of condolences to you & your family. Hope your wife to be & family member are able to overcome this incident soon.
